GAME UPDATE
Remember the Dungeon Building Competition? The dungeons built in the Base Editor are now real game servers! Break the furniture, dodge the traps, fight the skeletons and defeat the Liches waiting at the end.
The dungeons are in the server list, like the other servers. Look for the Dungeon icon: the line also tells how long the current run has been going, and which clan owns the dungeon.
- No level and no badge needed: everybody can enter.
- The game never sends you to a dungeon on its own: pick one in the list.
- You can also join one from Profile > Clans > Dungeons, or with the JOIN button of a clan rally.
A dungeon is a dangerous place, so every time you spawn there, you get a big head start:
- x10 the default resources of your badge,
- +500 food, wood and stone, and +1,000 gold,
- and you start at level 10.
With the Normal badge, that's 700 food, 700 wood, 700 stone and 1,000 gold at every spawn! This bonus is for the dungeon only: it is spent first and never added to your account. And no crates: they can't be crafted in a dungeon.
You are immune as long as you stay in the spawn area: your 5 seconds of protection only start when you leave it, and walking back in protects you again. But be careful: the Liches ignore this immunity!
You can build, but the dungeon doesn't like it:
- No building within 4 tiles of a spawn, and you can't build while you stand there.
- No building over a pit or on a bridge.
- After 3 minutes, a building loses 40% of its health every 10 seconds: without repairs, it falls after 3 minutes and 20 seconds. Repairs heal it, but never delay the decay.
- The Liches crush the buildings: up to 400 damage per swing for the strongest one!
The dungeons are full of traps and mechanisms:
- Pits: a Tamer or a pet who falls in a pit dies. The flying pets fly over them, and a mount carries its rider.
- Spikes: 5 damage every quarter of a second while you touch them. They hurt the Tamers, the pets and the monsters alike.
- Levers: hit them to flip them.
- Pressure plates: on while somebody stands on them... a pet can hold a door open for you!
- Gates, bridges and spike traps open or close the way.
- Some monsters are guardians: a gate may stay shut until they are slain... or tamed.
- The walls and the pits stop the teleport skills: a teleport through a wall or into a pit fails.
The dungeons hold 159 kinds of breakable furniture, each with its health bar: barrels, pots, cages, pillars, mushrooms, roots, rubble, bones, braziers and more. Most of them give their resource on every hit, and a lot more when they break.
| Furniture | Health | When it breaks | |
![]() | Collapsed Dungeon Pillar I | 2,800 | 560 ![]() |
![]() | Dungeon Roots III | 760 | 150 ![]() |
![]() | Giant Green Mushroom I | 610 | 120 ![]() |
![]() | Big Dungeon Cage | 520 | 105 ![]() |
![]() | Dungeon Lamp | 80 | 15 ![]() |
![]() | Tamer Skull | 130 | 25 ![]() |
![]() | Dungeon Barrel | 260 | 500 ![]() or 2,500 ![]() |
The Tamer Skull? "A former tamer. Still smiling." And the Dungeon Barrel is a lucky draw: it gives one of its four rewards, at random.
| Loot | Golden Apples | Or gold | Trinket | |
![]() | Small Dungeon Bag | 4 ![]() | 2,000 ![]() | ![]() |
![]() | Dungeon Bag | 6 ![]() | 3,000 ![]() | ![]() |
![]() | Big Dungeon Bag | 8 ![]() | 4,000 ![]() | ![]() |
![]() | Stone Chest | 4 ![]() | 3,000 ![]() | ![]() ![]() |
![]() | Lich Chest | 10 ![]() | 20,000 ![]() | ![]() |
Each bag and chest has a 1% chance to hold a trinket. Otherwise, it gives Golden Apples 30% of the time, and gold the rest of the time. Your Golden Apple hats and potions add their bonus too. And good news: no Mimic hides in the dungeons!
The halls are guarded by 5 new tamons: the Normal, Water, Plant, Fire and Ancient Skeletons. Their Bone Dash makes them fly as a skull, then slash and bite everything in front of them. The biggest ones, the BMB, sleep until a Tamer comes too close, and leave 1 or 2 babies when they die. Careful: a skeleton in armor is tougher, up to 60% less damage!
One article for each of them: their stats, their Bone Dash, their skins and how to tame them.
At the end of the dungeon, the Ancient Lich sleeps on its stone throne.
Hit it, or break its throne, and the fight begins:
1. Defeat the Ancient Lich...
2. ...and the Water, Plant and Fire Liches answer its call, all three at once!
3. Defeat all three, and the Fairy Lich comes: the final boss of the dungeon.
| Lich | Type | Health | Damage | Speed | |
![]() | Ancient Lich | ![]() | 5,200 | 48 | 310 |
![]() | Water Lich | ![]() | 6,400 | 52 | 320 |
![]() | Plant Lich | ![]() | 7,200 | 50 | 310 |
![]() | Fire Lich | ![]() | 5,600 | 60 | 330 |
![]() | Fairy Lich | ![]() | 20,000 | 90 | 340 |
That's 44,400 health to take down... and 102,000 gold for the Tamers who slay them!
The Liches draw runes under their target. About 2 seconds later, a beam strikes there and chases the closest Tamer or pet for a few seconds, leaving a trail that hurts and slows down. The Fire beam even burns! The Ancient Lich prefers to dash at you as a giant flying skull.
- The Liches fly: the pits won't save you.
- They ignore the spawn immunity.
- A shield facing the beam reduces its damage.
- The elemental Liches cast every 8 seconds or so, the Fairy Lich about every 5 seconds!
- The boss gauge at the top of the screen shows the Lich you are fighting.
When the Fairy Lich falls, it leaves 6 Lich Chests and 3 skeleton babies of random types. You have 2 minutes 30 to loot the dungeon and tame the babies: the game reminds you at 2 minutes, 1 minute, 30 and 10 seconds. Tamers can still spawn during the countdown.
Then everybody leaves, and the dungeon restarts: the furniture, the chests, the traps, the skeletons and the Liches are all back for a new run!
The bags and chests of the dungeons hide 4 new trinkets: The Alpha's Bone, The Convict's Chain, The Last Chance and The Lich's Phylactery.
Every dungeon can belong to a clan! From Monday to Friday, each Fairy Lich slain is a point for the clan of the Tamer landing the last hit, and on the weekend, the best clans fight for the dungeon.
